Minister of State to open HOSPIMedica ASIA and OS+H Asia 2002
British companies introduce innovative products at medical and work safety & health exhibitions
The fourth and third respective presentations of HOSPIMedica ASIA, International Exhibition on Hospital,
Pharmaceutical, Medical & Rehabilitative Equipment & Supplies and OS+H Asia, The Occupational Safety+Health
Exhibition for Asia will be opened by Dr Balaji Sadasivan, Minister of Sate, Ministry of Health, Singapore,
on 10 September 2002 at Suntec Singapore.
The two concurrent exhibitions will take place from 10 to 12 September 2002, from 10am to 6pm
in halls 601, 602 and 603 of Suntec Singapore. More than 300 exhibiting companies from 30 countries
will be displaying a wide and comprehensive array of products and solutions for healthcare and workcare.
HOSPIMedica ASIA will present the very best in medical and healthcare research, equipment, products
and services available around the world whilst OS+H Asia is a showcase of everything to do with safe
and healthy working environments. Both exhibitions admit trade/business visitors and professionals only.
For the medical industry, HOSPIMedica ASIA has become the region’s premier medical event since 1997
and has over the years grown in size in terms of area, the number of exhibitors and visitors.
This medical event has the potential to grow even further to serve the growing healthcare industry in Asia.
A number of complementary events will be staged alongside HOSPIMedica ASIA and OS+H Asia 2002.
These events are:
- 2nd Parkway Medical Congress (10-12 Sep)
- OSH Conference: "OSH - A Business Advantage" (11-12 Sep)
- Medical Technology 2002, an initiative by the European Commission
- Hospital Tours
Exhibiting and visiting industry practitioners and experts will greatly benefit from
their participation and involvement in these events. They will be able to:

the latest products, technology and services to Asia

introducing new and innovative products such as the award-winning emergency evacuation chair.
